Brocade BigIron RX Series is a high-performance Ethernet switch designed for network engineers. It enables users to standardize aggregation and backbone switching, manage embedded sFlow hardware-based traffic monitoring, configure dual management modules with sub-second detection and fail-over, pre-populate 512,000 IPv4 and 64,000 IPv6 routes for wire-speed routing performance, customize routing policies using access control lists (ACLs), as well as identify traffic based on source or destination IP address. Features include IEEE 802.1s optimization, link aggregation capability, PIM-SM (Sparse Mode) multicast support, command-line interface (CLI) optimization, support for up to 8,000 ACL, MAC port security management, application hosting capability, and latency management.
